This unique facility, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, celebrates both French and Native American history in St. Louis and is the only living museum of its kind in the metropolitan area to do so.

Consequently, the mansion is in a unique position to serve teachers of French and Social Studies and has developed an educational packet and learning materials worthy of that challenge. Constructed by a teacher for teachers, these materials will enhance field trips and make teachers' jobs much easier.

On a personal note, the DeMenil Foundation also recognizes that individual educators can also benefit from special training and networking opportunities, so we have developed a Professional Development Program that both you and your administrators should find extremely affordable and highly beneficial. Information concerning those opportunities will be sent to your district under separate cover or at your personal request.

In addition, at the conclusion of each school year, the Foundation would like to celebrate your special category of membership with a complimentary Wine & Cheese Party at the mansion. A delightful end-of-the-year féete, it will also serve as an opportunity to network with other educators in the area and have fun, as well.
